M. Carl Rice, Of Counsel
M. Carl Rice has practiced law in Shreveport for 46 years. He obtained his Bachelor’s of Science degree from Centenary College of Louisiana followed by his law degree from Paul M. Herbert Law Center at LSU. He has been licensed to practice law since 1971 and has since served on the executive committee, board of governors and the council of directors for the Louisiana Trial Lawyer’s Association. Carl’s experience is only half the reason why he was able to build a large and successful law practice without advertising. Carl’s personal philosophy is that the practice of law is a ministry. Carl believes that each client is sent to us and our job is to minister to them through the practice of law. As lawyers, Carl believes we are to trust God and do our best for each person we serve. Every client matters.
Carl is now of counsel with the firm he established. Carl continues to be a mentor and teacher, sharing his wealth of knowledge. Although the practice of law has changed over the years, Carl’s philosophy and principles continue to guide the firm.
