We're proud to officially extend our partnership with Centenary College Athletics as the Official Law Firm of Centenary Athletics, and to mark the renewal with the largest donation to The C Club in its history. Centenary has been part of our story for generations — Marshall is a 2000 graduate, firm founder Carl Rice was a member of the Class of 1967, and six members of our team today are proud Centenary alumni. As Marshall put it, "Centenary is a legacy school for me… it means a whole lot to give back to the school and to support the young players that are coming to Centenary". Our team joined judges, attorneys, and public officials from across northwest Louisiana at Holy Trinity Catholic Church for the 32nd annual Red Mass, a longstanding tradition observed in honor of Law Day. As 2026 SBA President, Marshall was honored to attend this meaningful service, which asks for wisdom, clarity, and integrity in the administration of justice. As 2026 SBA President, Marshall led the Shreveport Bar Association's annual Law Day Luncheon at the Petroleum Club of Shreveport, centered on this year's theme: "The Rule of Law and the American Dream". Our team had a great time celebrating alongside community leaders including Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux, Bossier Mayor Tommy Chandler, U.S. District Judge Jerry Edwards, U.S. Attorney Zachary Keller, and Liberty Bell Award recipient Mike Spence. We are so grateful for the opportunity to donate Christmas presents to 10 local kids through the Salvation Army of Northwest Louisiana. The Gingerbread House does incredible work for children in our community, and we were grateful for the chance to support five of their families this Christmas. Serving our community is one of our favorite Thanksgiving traditions! This year, we were honored to join Common Ground Shreveport for their annual food pantry giveaway. On August 6th, we attended the Shreveport Bar Association’s party for National Paralegal Celebration Day. This event was particularly meaningful because our paralegals, who serve on the SBA’s Legal Community Support Staff Committee, helped draft proclamations making this day officially recognized in Louisiana. After nearly 40 years in our previous building, we’re excited to call 912 Kings Highway our new home. Originally built in the 1920s, this historic space has been completely renovated to help us better serve our clients and stay rooted in the Shreveport community. The building’s legacy and our future now share the same address.
